On Tuesday, ECB, England and Wales Cricket Board, made a stirring announcement regarding England’s tour of Pakistan in 2022. The T20 World Cup 2021 is mending the fate of Pakistan as the green shirts have already made into semi-finals.

Earlier this year, England negated the tour to Pakistan, distressing the higher-ups as well as the nation. Likewise, Kiwis refused to pitch in this country due to security reasons leading to a voyage to Pakistan cricket’s decline.

Agenda of England’s Tour of Pakistan in 2022

England vs Pakistan in 2022 is scheduled in September as well as October and will encompass 2 T20 Internationals. According to PCB’s press release, the declaration was made soon after the meeting between Rameez Raja and England’s cricket chief.

Furthermore, there will be another trip of English team in Pakistan in 2022 after the T20 World Cup in Australia. It will comprise three test matches in order to contribute to ICC World Test Championship according to The UK Time.

ECB Chief Executive Harrison narrated the relationship between ECB and PCB as historic and represented the desire to progressive agendas. These strategic commitments involve Pakistan and England matches in 2022 of both men as well as women.

Moreover, according to Harrison’s viewpoint, Pakistan is the nation of great sportsmanship potential. This is leading to the aspiration of every English cricketer to challenge her/his abilities against Pakistan.

PCB’s Reaction towards England’s Tour of Pakistan in 2022

Rameez Raja demonstrated gratitude and related ECB’s announcement to generosity. The excitement of PCB’s chairman also ensured the safety and comfort of the visiting teams. Additionally, he mentioned the happiness of Pakistani fans and their eagerness to greet Australian and English teams in 2022.

The prior cancellation of scheduled England’s tour of Pakistan in 2022 received a vicious reaction from PCB and the nation. Reportedly, Rameez compared that action of Brits as impolite and self-centered because of the absence of an obvious reason.
