Australia vs. England in the 3rd T20

At the Manuka Oval in Canberra, the 3rd T20I between Australia and England was called off because of rain. After England was given the ball, Jos Buttler hit an unbeaten 65 to help them reach 112 for 2 in 12 overs. The game was stopped several times because of rain; each team only got 12 overs. Australia was down to 30 for 3 with a score of 113 to go before rain stopped the game.

The championship trophy is now in the possession of Jos Buttler. And now! The England team celebrated their series victory. After this, every team will be ready to compete at the World Cup. The warm-up game for England will be against Pakistan, while Australia will face India. The 17th of October, 2022, is quickly approaching, and that’s the day for both of these games. In other words, this is the last chance to say anything!

The captain of England, Jos Buttler, is also the Player of the Series. He says they have had a good time here and are glad their good play from Pakistan has kept up. Adds that they only had two overs left and that they had hoped to win the game by giving it their best, therefore it was disappointing that they were unable to do so. It is noted that they benefited greatly from the swing that Chris Woakes created in his opening over “reported by The UK Time.

Australia captain Aaron Finch says the weather last night was really frustrating and that they would have preferred to play the complete game. England, he adds, outplayed the opposition in all three games, but the Three Lions will need to work on their fielding. There were also reports of how challenging batting was. The article concludes by noting that the players will have a few days off before the World Cup begins.
