The airport is no longer accepting the evacuated people. The operation is in its last phase.
Kabul evacuation was initiated some days ago to protect the affected and foreigners. On Thursday, two explosions hit Kabul Airport, killing nearly 90 persons. Although, it was not allegedly the reason to end the evacuation.
The Defence Secretary accepts the repentance of not being able to evacuate everyone. It is also reported that the processing facilities outside the airport are ceased as well. These facilities were at the Baron Hotel.
Till 31 August 27, 2021, the US soldiers will also return. The explosions, stated earlier, also injured 150 people. Ministry of Defence said that the Kabul evacuation has completed a number of 13,708 on Friday, from the 13th of August 2021.
Among these fleets, there are endangered, British as well as Afghan individuals working for the UK. The majority number is of Afghans, 8000, who are qualified for the United Kingdom relocation scheme. 4,000 out of 13,708 are authorized of the British passport.

Kabul Evacuation and Living in Afghanistan – A British Army Personnel’s Experience
A British army member, Lloyd Comer, recently flew back from Afghanistan. According to The UK Time News, he shared his experience with BBC Radio 4’s Today show. The employee depicted his worry towards his peers stuck in the disturbed country.
Furthermore, masked himself with Afghan clothes to go through Taliban checkpoints. He stressed the unavailability of routes going back to the UK. Also, one of his colleagues is receiving intimidation from the Taliban, therefore, living with his family.
The Defence Secretary also depicted the possibility of Kabul evacuation continuity. However, it will happen in the medium term. Taliban might keep the airport open. The UK is always ready to assist entitled people, traveling to their own countries.
