Taliban have announced new regulations for Afghan female students in Afghanistan. The Islamic regime in universities is introduced for the students. Fortunately, the government has allowed women to study and work. However, not alongside men.

Concerning the current situation and till the improvement in security systems, the Taliban have forbidden women to work. Only the health sector female workers are allowed to perform their tasks.

Yesterday, the Taliban raised their flag on the presidential palace before this announcement. Previously, on the 15th of August, this community took control over the country, making US and UK soldiers fly back.

Afghan Female Students, the Must Regulations to Follow

Moreover, the new law is relatively different for women than the preceding one. The previous policy had no dress codes for Afghan female students. Besides, these scholastic institutions were co-educational.

The Higher Education Minister has enforced the commandment basing on Islamic teachings. He further stated that the pupil are Muslims and they will admit it.

According to BBC, certain people were against this separation. They suggested omitting females from the universities because of the lack of apt resources.

However, Abdul Baqi Haqqani supported the continuity of females’ education. He further illustrated the reasoning like enough female teachers. Even male teachers can teach remaining behind the drapes. The UK Time News researched his statement regarding the use of technology as an alternative.

Furthermore, the seclusion of girls and boys in earlier schools like secondary and primary will continue. Taliban have also made the hijab compulsory for women, with the lack of specific details.

The minister elaborated about the reviewing of the curriculum. The prime focus is on the implementation of Islamic laws and national history in subjects. Moreover, the syllabus should also meet the international standards encompassing other countries.

The declaration was presented at Kabul’s Shaheed Rabbani Education University. Numerous ladies were holding Taliban flags while praising the new law. The UK Time News researched the replacement of the Women’s Affairs Ministry. The current entity is the Ministry of Vice and Virtue.

Certain famous personalities left the country because of strict rulings. One is Aryana Sayeed, a famous pop singer while the other one is Sahraa Karimi, a film director.
